A R T I S T
As a wild clay ceramic artist based in the Fleurieu Peninsula, my work reflects the profound emotional responses I experience as I traverse this stunning landscape.
Each piece is a manifestation of my connection to the beaches, bushland, and rocky cliffs that define my home.
By studying local geology and utilizing native materials, I create ceramics that embody the essence of this unique environment.
The clays and ochres I work with are sourced less than a kilometer from my studio, while my glazes incorporate Fleurieu Peninsula granite, wood ash, and feldspar.
Handbuilt forms allow me to maintain a direct connection with the land, nurturing an intimate relationship with the earth beneath my feet.
